WALK NOT TO WORK

I walk to work

My legs can choose where to go

Just yesterday the police gave me a treat

They smiled and hugged me

They even gave me a lift to my office,

I was made to seat like a king in the luxurious Limousine

While they patted my back in love

And also paid me 10 million for walking to work.

I laugh at the opposition,

For we can spend 3 billion shillings to swear in our President,

And can still afford to decrease the price of maize stalk to as cheap as 500/= only

The taxes we pay do a lot, look at the fancy roads in Kampala City no single pothole,

Look at how cheap fuel is and how our currency gains each day against the dollar,

We are great indeed, many people can sleep in peace and in empty stomachs,

A family can survive on less than a dollar a day and still live,

U.P.E;

T we produce quality professions,

Look at the state house dinners we host,

And the chogm money we gave to street children

Look at how many tribes benefit from the state house scholarships.

Equal distribution of resources; Karamoja is like Kampala

I walk to work

For my legs follow the path to freedom

And if i may die tomorrow

Please tell my sons and daughters

Walking to work is only a choice

No one takes from you.
