MOMENT

Tear this mortal being,
I desire to be naked wretched man,
The fullness of life on this earth is but void,
Time and again do i thirst for more,
What then can quench mine thirst?

I am laughed at for having a liberal mind
Assaulted by the laws governing a carnal life
Virtues like shadows fading
Amidst the quietness of unknown fate
There limps my failing soul

Whose eyes can search the heart?
Cant the actions from deep within be weighed?
Or is the scale of life limited to strength?

The soul with a little breath,
Wonders beyond timeless plea,
And just a moment shared
Will matter even in a blink of an eye.
